The Leiden digital collection of Unofficial Poetry Journals from China has been upgraded in spring for the third time since the launch of the project in 2019.
Over 30.000 pages of new material are now available. As existing journals have been enriched with recently acquired issues, as the collection of migrant workers’ poetry digitized last year has been complemented with new titles such as New Worker Literature 新工人文学, this year’s upgrade presents new specificities, such as individual collections by several authors. In 2022, the online collection of unofficial poetry publications from China in the Leiden Digital Collections (https://edu.nl/8e4h9) was visited 6350 times (visit = a visitor comes to the website for the first time or visit a page more than 30 minutes after his/her last page view.) User IP addresses are located all over the world, but mostly in China, the USA, Vietnam and the Netherlands.
